Securing Your Financial Future
This morning while I scribbled through the pages of “The Richest Man in Babylon” by Richard Clarson, I once again realised the powerful message that “A Part of What You Earn is Yours to Keep.”
In the years to which we will live on Earth, we constantly strive to achieve financial stability and secure a financial protection for our family and loved ones, as a result we embark on several endeavours to ensure that we achieve this. Some will be successful, some may not be. But in the journey to securing this financial protection it is important to wield the knowledge that “A Part of What You Earn is Yours to Keep”
As students and millennials, we’re often caught in the web of not realizing what we’ve used our money for, and it’ll a be a fallacy if we say that we do not make any money at all. Financial security is a discipline to which accountability is key. The journey to success is not a one stop process for which everything gets done immediately, It is a steady and consistent set of things and activities.
With the varying expenditure and the wholesome desires to have and acquire more, it may be a Herculean task to save one tenth of your earnings and will require a discipline and the quest for success to continue with that.
The times and seasons may be different but the laws have not changed, to begin to achieve financial security, SAVE ONE TENTH OF YOUR EARNING. Imbibe this culture of saving and you’ve made your first step towards the journey to securing your financial future
