“What! Are you blind”, Tade screamed as the woman bumped into the bus with two heavy bags. She had mistakenly hit her with one of the bags.
“Sorry, my dear, it was accidental” the woman responded. Unfortunately, on looking up, she found Tade to be the lady who was just recommended to be her brand ambassador, some hours ago. I’m sure you can imagine what would happen next.
As we carry out our daily activities, we are faced with situations that require us to use our words. We meet and interact with a lot of people; good, bad, excited and depressed fellows, on a daily basis.
Now the question is:
What will your words do? Think about it…
Will it make or mar you?
Will it heal or wound people’s hearts?
Can you use those words to give hope to the hopeless?
With the increasing number of depressed individuals, will your words make someone commit suicide or think otherwise?
I know we all have to express our feelings and convey our thoughts, but let’s always remember that people interpret words in a million ways. What sounds right to me, might be the salt in another person’s wound.
Learn to say what you mean without being mean, no one will do this for you!
