Smartphones now have been embedded with so many amazing and fun features which has made it to be used by almost everyone round the world.
You no longer need to carry a watch, camera, recorder, music player, stopwatch, calculator, and so many other things around these days as you have all this in just one portable device
But only if these devices can last us days without having to charge it every now and then.
I’m gonna give you some tips to strengthen the lifespan of your phone’s battery below
1. Do not use your phone while charging
I know so many of us are guilty of this including myself but it’s really unhealthy for the phone’s battery and even you yourself. Try to leave your phone to charge without disturbance and unplug it when you want to use it. This will go a long way in improving the battery life.
2. Do not charge your phone all the way up
I know this will sound surprising to some people but it’s actually the truth. Once your phone reaches 100%, it starts diminishing even while it’s plugged. This might not show at that moment but it will be revealed with time. It is advisable to unplug your phone when it’s between 80% and 90%
3. Do not run many apps on your phone at the same time
Try to close apps you’re not using on the phone as these background apps running tend to consume your battery gradually. Make it an habit to be closing unused apps on your phone and it will be of great benefit to the battery health.
4. Use specified chargers only and stop using multiple chargers
Using different chargers to charge your phone causes damage to your phone and with time the battery will be destroyed. Also used good quality chargers to charge your phone.
5. Close Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile data when not in use
Ensure you turn off your Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and mobile data while not in use as they tend to consume your battery in the background.
6. Regulate your screen’s brightness
Always keep your screen brightness low and only increase if there be the need. Phones now come with an ‘auto-brightness’ settings so putting that settings on will help regulate your screen’s brightness as it will increase it when you are in a bright place and reduce when you’re in a dark place.
7. Use Power Saving Mode
Turning on the power saving mode on your phone will help save your battery as it helps you close running background apps and reduces your screen’s brightness
8. Avoid using animated wallpapers
Using animations as wallpapers is a very good way to destroy your battery on time. It kills your battery very fast and reduces its durability so avoid using them.
I hope you find this tips helpful and put them to use
