When I started writing, I didn’t start using very simple words, I felt using big and complex words would earn me more respect and value, I thought my audience would applaud me so much for being grammatical with words.
It later dawned on me that the social media, is a space of both the highly intelligent personalities, and those who are struggling to learn from others by catching up with the simplest of words.
I got to understand that being too grammatical was not very necessary, I understood that I could actually make a great impact in the lives of many people without restriction, by being very simple, correct and fluent with words by carrying others along without impressing particular persons or group, with words.
This is applicable to the real life scene, we mosttimes try to imitate people without first knowing that we are all unique in our own ways, and our uniqueness is what has drawn some personalities closer to us, and now we are ruining that attraction by wanting to be someone else.
The only thing you owe yourself and any other person, is to be the best of yourself as much as you can, in order to be more relevant and affect lives positively in the simplest way you can.
If you must be in competition with anyone, it should be with your own self. You owe yourself growth, integrity, reputation and uprightness.
Just be yourself, and constantly work to become the best version of yourself, for the sake of the people that look up to you.
